Note: ChordMapMidi is a midi controller. It doesnt create sound on its own. It sends commands over virtual midi to other synthesizer apps you have on your device.

ChordMapMidi is useful for songwriters, midi musicians, music educators... especially in places where the only instrument you have is the phone in your pocket.

Have fun exploring chords and progressions!

Too complicated
I emailed the developer and he said you needed listening apps, which just doesnt seem to work on my iPhone 4S. Its just too complicated to set up.
Really Amazing
I have just about every midi controller and didnt think I needed another one, but this is so very different! It does inversions and complex chordings and it is just really awesome. With this, you can choose wrong chords and actually be more musical as you hear and feel them. It is truly remarkable when paired with grain science, thumbjam, and the arpeggiator on Cassini. Dont pass up this awesome controller. On each of the pads, you can set it up to play three separate chordings as well as the inversion and octave buttons. No regrets getting this great tool.
This app rocks
Easy as one, two, three. Its also a big plus in doing rapid chord voicings without having to pick and pluck chords out on tiny synth keyboards!
Truly unique controller
I think the developer and everyone else has forgotten about this app, but I use it all the time. The layout is simple and you wont find anything else on the App Store that offers such an array of chord structures that you can trigger in a variety of ways. Still works on ios7.
Anybody there!
This is a great app! Audiobus please! That would bring it back to life!
